NTT DATA Prize

NTT Data award to the best Master Thesis MESIO UPC-UB in the area of Data Science.

Note: This award is confirmed for the 2025-2026 academic year. Agreements for subsequent years are currently in negotiation. We will update this page as new information becomes available.

Among all the Master Thesis annually defended in the area of Data Science, the company NTT DATA will award with 2000 euros the work that is considered the best TFM DS MESIO UPC-UB.

The aspects that will be taken into account are going to be the following:

Interest of the topic for the society
Statistical and Machine Learning Techniques that have been used in the development of the Masther thesis
Quality of the Master Thesis memory
Quality of the oral presentation
Student skills to answer the questions

The author of the awarded Master Thesis will receive the award from the company managers, in the graduation ceremony that takes place annually.
